Short Course on Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs)

Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) in the Philippines has always been associated with multi-million dollar infrastructural projects involving international donor institutions, big business and government agencies.  PPPs, however, address a broader panorama of societal issues where all sorts of public, private, profit, and non-profit institutions play a constructive role.  The Chains-for-Change project is a PPP experiment that aims to reveal the necessary conditions that enable partnerships to produce sustainable results.  An important element in this exercise is the transfer of knowledge on what it takes to build effective partnerships, sourced from the practice of PPPs worldwide.  This is what the short course on PPPs aim to provide especially for the stakeholders of the C4C and EMIT project. .  The Partnership Resource Center of the Rotterdam School of Management (Netherlands) will design and conduct the first short course on April 2013 (exact date to be announced).  For more information on the Partnership Resource Center, please visit their website: http://www.partnershipsresourcecentre.org/
